Intermediate Student Group

The Lake Geneva House of Music offers our Intermediate Student Group Program, where students get individual private lessons on guitar, bass, drums, keys, vocals, and more, along with a weekly band rehearsal. Here, they get to implement what they are learning in their lessons, and apply it in a group setting. This is the group that will often be the opening act for the Advanced Student Group and Adult Student Group. This band also has the option to work their way up to being in the Advanced Student Group, once they’re at the right age and ability level. These students get to give input on a new show theme every 3-4 months, and then perform these shows for the public. This gives them a chance to build relationships, work together as a team, and share their talent within the community. This group is mainly made up of middle-school students (ages 10-13) with proficient/intermediate abilities in their instrument of choice. These students are able to learn songs at a steady pace, while working together to perfect them for the show. This group also gets to perform at various other shows such as festivals, pig roasts, parties, etc.

With House of Music’s Intermediate Student Group Program, they will get the chance to work with our experienced staff of professional musicians, meet and perform with a fun and interesting group of people their own age, make new friends, and take the stage at venues in the Geneva Lakes area, in front of an enthusiastic audience.

The Stage is Yours for the taking. Call now to get enrolled, at (262)-248-0606.
